The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on March 23, 2026, issued notification regarding the Restoration of RoDTEP rates.
The Government has restored the RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) rates and value caps to the levels that were in force as of February 22, 2026. This restoration is applicable for all eligible export products and will remain effective for the period from February 23, 2026 to March 31, 2026. As a result, exporters will be able to claim benefits at the full rates and caps that existed prior to the recent restriction.
This notification also supersedes Notification No. 60/2025–26 dated February 23, 2026, along with its corrigendum dated February 24, 2026, except for actions already taken under those earlier provisions. Importantly, the earlier restriction that limited RoDTEP benefits to 50% has now been withdrawn, thereby reinstating full benefits to exporters during the specified period.
