Finance & Taxation Compliance The Transport Department, Govt. of Telangana on March 20, 2026, issued the amendment to the Seventh Schedule under section 3 of the Telangana Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963.

In the said Act, in the Seventh Schedule in Section 3 there under, the column No. 8, and the entries relating thereto i.e. Second or more personalized vehicles upto a seating capacity of ten (10) in all owned by an individual (Additional 2% of tax on the rates prescribed in the Third Schedule and Sixth Schedule at the time of registration of new vehicles only) shall be deleted.
