Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on March 23, 2026, issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) and Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System (CFCFRMS) – Custody, Restoration of Money and Grievance Redressal.

Trading Members have been informed that the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre have developed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) and the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System (CFCFRMS). This SOP lays down a structured framework for handling cyber-enabled financial crime cases, including aspects such as custody of funds, restoration of money, and grievance redressal.

The SOP is intended to streamline coordination among Law Enforcement Agencies, banks, financial intermediaries, and other stakeholders by ensuring a uniform, transparent, and efficient process across the country. Trading Members have been specifically directed to refer to Para 9.6 of the SOP, which deals with securities market-related transactions, and to ensure compliance with the prescribed procedures wherever applicable.

The SOP is attached as Annexure-A.
