The Government of Delhi on March 23, 2026, issued notification regarding Submission of sample of each approved brand on quarter basis by all the L-1 licensees.
The Excise Department has reiterated its earlier instructions requiring all L-1 licensees to regularly submit samples of all approved IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) brands to the Excise Control Laboratory on a quarterly basis to ensure quality standards.
Specifically, licensees must submit samples of each approved brand for the quarter January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 without fail. This directive reinforces compliance with periodic testing requirements to maintain the quality of liquor supplied.
