The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) on March 23, 2026, issued Call for Proposals for Skilling, Upskilling and Reskilling under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM).
The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) is implementing a skilling initiative under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) to develop a trained and industry-ready workforce across the green hydrogen value chain. The scheme focuses on building training capacity through state institutions, Centres of Excellence, and accredited training centres.
States/UTs are invited to submit proposals—individually or jointly—covering workforce demand assessment, training infrastructure, identification of training centres, industry partnerships, and funding requirements. Proposals from private entities must be routed through state departments, and all submissions should align with scheme guidelines. States with Green Hydrogen policies are encouraged to submit proposals promptly to support upcoming projects.
