The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) on March 25, 2026, issued clarification on News Reports Regarding LPG Refill Booking Timelines.
The Government has clarified that recent news reports and social media claims regarding revised LPG refill booking timelines are incorrect. No changes have been made to the existing rules for LPG refill bookings.
As per current norms, the refill booking interval remains 25 days in urban areas and 45 days in rural areas, regardless of the type of connection. Citizens are advised not to spread or act on misinformation and to avoid panic booking, as sufficient LPG stocks are available across the country.
