Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Karnataka on March 24, 2026, issued the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) (Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 2014.

The rules shall take effect from March 24, 2026.

It states that under Rule 26, sub-rule (1), clause (d), the words “eight meters” have been substituted with “six meters”.
