Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Karnataka on March 24, 2026, issued the Draft Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) (Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Karnataka Excise (Bottling of Liquor) Rules, 1967.

The amendment states that Rule 18 shall be omitted.

The objections or suggestions may be addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, Vidhana Soudha, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru -01, by March 31, 2026.
