The Bombay Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 25, 2026, notified regarding the conversion factor for converting from USD to GBP, EURO, and YEN.
The following has been stated:
• The Exchange has updated conversion factors (effective April 29, 2026) for monitoring the USD 100 million position limit in currency derivatives (EUR-INR, GBP-INR, JPY-INR).
• New factors: USD–EUR: 0.85, USD–GBP: 0.74, USD–JPY: 156.59.
• Entities shall ensure positions across exchanges remain within USD 100 million equivalent, failing which underlying exposure disclosure is required.
• Existing conversion factors remain applicable till April 28, 2026.
