NCDEX notified regarding the Contingency Mock on March 28, 2026

Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on March 25, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Contingency Mock on March 28, 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Exchange will conduct a Contingency Mock Trading Session on March 28, 2026, which was earlier postponed from March 07, 2026.

• Members must test NEXTRA File Uploader and UDIFF uploader using the new DNS-based setup (live since March 16, 2026) and certify readiness.

• The old setup (without DNS changes) will be discontinued from March 28, 2026.

• Mock trading schedule: Pre-open (9:45–10:00 AM), trading (10:00 AM–1:00 PM), modification till 1:15 PM, re-login (5:00–5:30 PM).

• Scope includes Trading, NEXTRA, Web NCFE, and Web Extranet systems.

• Production Web NCFE and Extranet will be unavailable (2:00 AM–9:00 PM); only test/mock portals will be accessible.

• Members should also test algorithmic trading functionalities as per earlier circulars on safer participation of retail investors.

• Mock trades will not result in any financial or commodity obligations (no pay-in/pay-out).

• BOD/EOD files will be available via designated portals, and members must restore systems to production state after testing.

• Tick-by-Tick (TBT) market data testing will be available via PLS/P2P connection, however, such links may not be available during actual disaster scenarios.
