The Government of Arunachal Pradesh on February 25, 2026, issued Fixation of MRP for Alcoholic Beverages under Revised Excise Duty Framework in Arunachal Pradesh.
The Government had earlier revised the ad-valorem excise duty rates on alcoholic beverages effective October 01, 2024, and issued a cost card for determining the Maximum Retail Price (MRP).
In continuation, exercising powers under the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Rules, 1994, the authority has now fixed the MRP of alcoholic beverages for civilian sale in the State, based on proposals from manufacturers and in the interest of revenue. The revised MRPs are detailed in Annexures I to IV and will remain in force until further orders.
