Industry Specific ComplianceThe Paradip Port Authority (PPA) on March 17, 2026, issued Withdrawal of Restrictions on Overnight Berthing of Ammonium Nitrate Ships.

Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has withdrawn its earlier Trade Circular dated September 16, 2025, which restricted ammonium nitrate-laden ships from staying overnight at the jetty with cargo exceeding 5000 MT and required them to move to mid-sea anchorage after daily operations.

The withdrawal follows a revised advisory issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways on March 17, 2026. With immediate effect, the earlier restrictions no longer apply, and this update is issued for the information of all stakeholders.
