The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on March 25, 2026, notified specifications for four fertiliser variants under the Fertiliser (Control) Order, 1985 for manufacture in India for a period of three years. The notified fertilisers include NPK 13.2-13.2-13.2 liquid fertiliser enriched with micronutrients, NK 2-0-21 liquid fertiliser, elemental sulphur fortified with multiple micronutrients, and PK 0-5-27 liquid fertiliser. Detailed parameters have been prescribed covering nutrient composition, micronutrient content, pH levels, specific gravity, and permissible limits for heavy metals such as cadmium, arsenic, and lead. This notification aims to standardize product quality and promote balanced nutrient application in agriculture.
