The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 23, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Rubber Hoses for Welding.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be March 17, 2026 -

• IS 1448 (Part 149) : 2026 ISO 12156-1 : 2023 Petroleum and its Products — Methods of Test Part 149 Diesel Fuel — Assessment of Lubricity Using the High-Frequency Reciprocating Rig (HFRR) — Test Method (Third Revision).
• IS 5190 : 2026 Code of Packaging of Natural Rubber Latex in Drums (Second Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be September 17, 2026 -
• IS 447 - 1988 Specification for Rubber Hose for Welding (Fourth Revision).
• IS 1448 (Part 149) : 2020 ISO 12156-1 : 2018 Methods of Test for Petroleum and its Products Part 149 Diesel Fuel — Assessment of Lubricity Using the High-Frequency Reciprocating Rig (HFRR) — Test Method (Second Revision).
• IIS 5190 : 1993 Code of Packaging of Natural Rubber Latex in Drums (First Revision).
