The National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) on March 27, 2026, issued Settlement Calendar and timelines for submission of delivery intentions for all the future.
Members are informed about the Settlement Calendar and delivery intention timelines for Futures Contracts expiring in April 2026.
• Contracts may be under compulsory delivery or staggered delivery; settlement follows the specified delivery mechanism.
• Delivery intentions must be submitted (via NCFE) up to 1.5 hours after market close (till 6:30 PM) during the staggered delivery period, including expiry day.
• Delivery is mandatory for open positions at expiry after opting for early pay-in.
• Sellers must provide location preference, failing which allocation is made to the base location.
Penalties & Compliance:
• Strict penalties apply for delivery defaults, including additional 3% penalty for serious or repeated defaults.
• Repeated default (3+ times in 6 months) attracts extra penalties per instance.
• Late submission of GST/invoice details attracts late fees.
• Members cannot square off positions after intention marking in intention-matching contracts.
• No new positions allowed in last 5 days of expiry for such contracts.
• GST is applicable on penalties.
Overall, members must strictly adhere to delivery timelines, submission procedures, and compliance norms to avoid penalties.
