Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on March 25, 2026, fixed retail prices of certain scheduled drug formulations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. The notification specifies retail prices (exclusive of GST) for combination medicines including Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Chlorzoxazone tablets, Alpha Lipoic Acid-based multivitamin tablets, and Atorvastatin + Clopidogrel capsules, along with details of manufacturers and marketing companies.

The order mandates that manufacturers must adhere to the notified retail prices and cannot sell these formulations above the specified rates. The prices are applicable per unit (tablet/capsule) and ensure standardization across the market for these commonly used combination drugs.

Manufacturers are required to comply with all provisions of DPCO, 2013, including issuing price lists, notifying authorities, and adhering to regulatory requirements. Any overcharging beyond the notified retail prices will attract recovery along with applicable interest under the law.
