The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on March 27, 2026, notified regarding the deletion of item no. 2218 & 2219 from the Approved List under DG-ESIC Central Rate Contract No. 161.
The following has been stated:
• It has issued Corrigendum-06 announcing the deletion of Item Nos. 2218 and 2219 from the approved list under Central Rate Contract No. 161 (valid from April 08, 2025 to April 07, 2027), effective March 23, 2026. The deleted items pertain to Daratumumab injections (100 mg and 400 mg, marketed as DARZALEX) supplied by Johnson & Johnson Private Limited.
• The removal has been carried out as per the terms of the e-tender due to the off-patent status of these drugs. Consequently, these items will no longer be part of the approved procurement list under the said ESIC rate contract.
