Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Communications (MoC) on March 25, 2026, issued the Post Office (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2026, further to amend the Post Office Regulations, 2024.

This shall take effect from April 01, 2026.

It states that in regulation 133, in sub-regulation (1), for the words "not exceeding one lakh rupees", the words "not exceeding five lakh rupees" shall be substituted.
