Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Health and Family Welfare, Tamil Nadu, on February 13, 2026, issued an order regarding the simplification of the TNCEA Registration & Renewal Process.

The following has been stated: -

•The Government of Tamil Nadu approved major reforms to simplify registration/renewal of clinical establishments under the TNCEA framework. 

•Accreditation from bodies like NABH, NQAS, JCI, and NABL will enable fast-track, auto-verified approvals via the portal. 

•For non-accredited institutions, a streamlined digital process with dynamic document checklists, geo-tagged inspections, and reduced paperwork is introduced. 

•Redundant requirements (like repeated staff data, third-party agreements for in-house services) are removed, and portal efficiency is improved via e-Sevai integration. 

•Additional reforms include categorization of laboratories and aesthetic services, online self-declaration with OTP, and simplified document requirements for faster approvals.
