The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 30, 2026, issued a notification regarding an amendment to Fee Concessions for Enterprises under Scheme-X.
The following has been stated: -
•The Bureau of Indian Standards has revised fee concessions under Scheme-X of its Conformity Assessment Regulations.
•Micro and start-up enterprises will receive an enhanced 80% fee concession (valid till May 31, 2029).
• Small-scale enterprises will get a 50% fee concession for the same period.
•Women entrepreneur enterprises will receive an additional 10% concession over their applicable category (micro/small/medium).
