Labour ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh, on March 31, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revision of the Minimum Wages in the State.

The following has been stated: -

•The Labour Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh, revised minimum wages with VDA effective from April 01 to September 30, 2026, based on CPI. 

•General scheduled employments (67 sectors) have updated monthly wages ranging from ₹12,425 (unskilled) to ₹16,769 (highly skilled). 

•Industry-specific daily wage rates are defined for sectors like slate pencil, printing press, agriculture, and government workers. 

•Piece-rate wages are specified for the bidi and agarbatti industries with fixed rates per 1,000 units. 

•New employments are added as per the High Court order, and daily wages are rounded as per standard rules.
