The Office of the Jute Commissioner (JCO), Ministry of Textiles, on March 26, 2026, issued a notification revising the maximum ex-factory prices for 580 gm B-Twill sacking jute bags (Type A and Type B) for the months of January and February 2017, in partial modification of earlier notifications.
The revised prices apply to both linked and non-linked categories, updating the previously notified rates per metric tonne and per 100 bags. These revisions supersede the earlier notified prices under S.O. 707(E) dated January 6, 2017 and S.O. 708(E) dated February 20, 2017, while retaining all other conditions unchanged.
It is further clarified that the revised ex-factory prices are exclusive of GST, which shall be payable additionally by the buyer as applicable.
