The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoW&CD) on April 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding the SHe-Box Portal: Strengthening Workplace Safety & POSH Compliance.
The following has been stated: -
•The SHe-Box Portal, launched on August 29, 2024, by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, enables digital implementation of the PoSH Act, 2013.
•As of March 27, 2026, over 161,000 workplaces are onboarded, with 68,460 Internal Committees and 777 district-level Local Committees registered.
•The Ministry collaborates with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance, guided by Supreme Court directives on workplace surveys and data reporting.
•Training sessions, awareness programs, and integration with the Mission Shakti app (available in 23 languages) have improved accessibility and outreach.
•Continuous efforts include urging States/UTs to strengthen grassroots mechanisms and promoting awareness through campaigns and IEC resources.
