Commercial ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on April 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding a special drive for expeditious issuance of EODCs under Advance Authorisation (AA) and EPCG schemes - extension up to May 31, 2026.

The following has been stated: -

•DGFT has extended the special drive for issuing EODCs under Advance Authorisation and EPCG schemes till May 31, 2026.

•The earlier drive from March 01, 2026, to March 31, 2026, cleared 11,791 cases, reducing pendency significantly.

•The extended drive from April 01, 2026, focuses on older and deficient pending applications.

•Exporters are advised to submit pending documents and respond promptly to queries for faster processing.

•This initiative aims to ease compliance, enable closure of authorisations, and facilitate release of bonds and bank guarantees.
