Industry Specific ComplianceThe International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on April 01, 2026, notified regarding the Specification of Certification Course for Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs)/Employees under the International Financial Services Centres Authority (Fund Management) Regulations, 2025.

The following has been stated:

• It has mandated a certification requirement under the Fund Management Regulations, 2025, for employees of Fund Management Entities (FMEs) operating in IFSC. Specifically, Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs) and employees engaged in core fund management activities shall complete the course “Regulatory Framework for Fund Management in IFSC: AIFs and Retail Schemes” offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India by September 30, 2026. 

• FMEs and their controlling persons are responsible for ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria and timely certification completion. While not mandatory, employees involved in support functions and ecosystem entities (like trustees, intermediaries, and fund administrators) are encouraged to undertake the course to enhance competence and regulatory readiness.
