Labour Compliance The Government of Meghalaya on March 23, 2026, issued notification regarding local holiday in the East Khasi Hills District.

All State Government Offices, Revenue and Magisterial Courts, and Educational Institutions in East Khasi Hills District will remain closed on April 13, 2026, on account of “Shad Suk Mynsiem”.

However, this holiday will not apply to Central Government Offices, which will function as usual.
