The Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) on April 02, 2026, issued a circular regarding Unique Client Codes (UCCs) with Non-Verified KRA Status.
The following has been stated: -
•With reference to the Securities and Exchange Board of India circular dated August 11, 2023, on KYC simplification, clients whose KYC attributes remain unverified by KRAs are not permitted to transact in the securities market.
•Accordingly, members must mark all such unverified UCCs as inactive in the Exchange database by April 30, 2026.
•The Exchange will view non-compliance with this requirement seriously.
•For any issues regarding KRA status, members should directly contact the respective KRAs.
