Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on April 01, 2026, issued circular on Margin Trading Compliance Certificate for half year ended March 31, 2026.

Trading Members offering Margin Trading Facility (MTF), as per SEBI circular dated December 30, 2024, are required to get their MTF accounts audited and submit a compliance certificate half-yearly (March 31 and September 30). The certificate must be duly signed by a Chartered Accountant in the prescribed format, failing which it will be treated as non-submission.

Members who have approval for MTF but have not commenced operations must submit a self-certified declaration signed by the Compliance Officer/Designated Director.

For the half-year ended March 31, 2026, certificates must be submitted electronically via BEFS (BSE Electronic Filing System) by April 30, 2026. Submission is considered valid only upon uploading on BEFS and receipt of acknowledgment email; physical or email submissions will not be accepted.
