The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on April 02, 2026, issued a notification regarding Floating Rate Savings Bonds, 2020 (Taxable) - FRSB 2020 (T) - Operational Guidelines.
The following has been stated: -
•The Reserve Bank of India has reviewed the operational guidelines for Floating Rate Savings Bonds, 2020 (Taxable) (FRSB 2020 (T)).
•The revised guidelines have been issued under the powers of the Government Securities Act, 2006.
•These new provisions will come into effect from the date of the current circular.
•The revised guidelines supersede the earlier guidelines issued on June 30, 2020 (updated June 27, 2022).
