The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) has directed all Depository Participants (DPs), including Branch DPs, to mandatorily submit their tariff/charge structure every year through the ‘easiest’ login portal, in line with its earlier communiqué.
DPs are required to update their tariff details online by logging into the CDSL system, navigating to the “Create/Modify Tariff” option, entering the relevant details, and submitting the same. After submission, a confirmation message is displayed, and DPs can print the submitted information. Additionally, DPs must email a PDF copy of the tariff structure (based on the submitted details) to CDSL using the prescribed file naming format.
In cases where there is no change in the existing tariff structure, DPs must still log in, select the “No change in tariff” option, and submit it online, along with sending the PDF copy via email.
All DPs must complete both online submission and email communication on or before April 30, 2026. Non-submission or delayed submission will attract a penalty of ₹500 as per the applicable DP Operating Instructions.
