Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 02, 2026, issued circular regarding the Submission of Margin Trading Compliance Certificate for half year ended March 31, 2026.

In line with the Securities and Exchange Board of India circular dated December 30, 2024, Trading Members approved for Margin Trading Facility (MTF) are required to comply with half-yearly audit and certification requirements for periods ending March 31 and September 30.

Members who have commenced MTF operations must get their related books of accounts audited and submit a compliance certificate duly signed by a Chartered Accountant in the prescribed format (Annexure I). Those who have approval but have not commenced MTF must submit a self-certified declaration signed by the Compliance Officer or Designated Director (Annexure II).

The submission of the MTF Compliance Certificate must be done electronically through the ENIT portal under the specified compliance module. A user manual (Annexure III) is provided to guide the submission process.

All Trading Members are required to complete the submission on or before April 30, 2026, ensuring strict adherence to the prescribed procedure and timelines.
