The Government of Gujarat, on April 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revised DA Component of Minimum Wages.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Gujarat has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) component of minimum wages by ₹12 per day for April to September 2026.
•For Zone I (municipal corporation limits and nearby areas), revised monthly wages apply across unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled categories, and the monthly wages are approx. ₹13,325 (Unskilled), ₹13,585 (Semi-Skilled), and ₹13,897 (Skilled).
•For Zone II (areas outside Zone I), separate revised wage structures have been notified for all worker categories, and the monthly wages are approx. ₹13,039 (Unskilled), ₹13,325 (Semi-Skilled), and ₹13,585 (Skilled).
•The revision ensures adjustment of wages in line with inflation and cost-of-living changes.
