The Director General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on March 16, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Corrigendum to the Final finding in the countervailing duty investigation concerning imports of effect pearlescent pigments or mica pearlescent pigments, excluding effect pigments for automotive applications.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, final findings were issued in a countervailing duty investigation on pearlescent pigments (excluding automotive use).
• A typographical error in the earlier corrigendum (June 2025) has been corrected, replacing Note (d) in the duty table.
• The revised provision states that for synthetic pearlescent pigments (non-automotive), since no anti-dumping duty applies, the countervailing duty will equal the specified amount in column (7).
