Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on March 09, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Transfer of certain functions and delegation of powers to the zonal offices of CDSCO under Rule 22 of the Drugs Rules, 1945.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Certain regulatory powers are delegated to Zonal Offices to improve ease of doing business. 

• Zonal Offices will now handle Test License (Form 11) for import of veterinary drugs (excluding biologicals) for testing/analysis. 

• They will also process No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and Test License (Form 29) for manufacturing veterinary drugs (excluding biologicals) for examination or analysis.
