Finance & Taxation Compliance The Finance Department, Assam on March 05, 2026, issued the amendment to Assam Value Added Tax Act, 2003

The following has been stated namely: -

• Entries at serial number 5(ii) and vary the rates thereto in the Fourth Schedule has been modified namely: -

The existing serial number 5(ii) with entries thereto, the following shall be substituted.

This shall come into force on March 05, 2026.
