Commercial Compliance The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 19, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).

The amendment if the following has been established on March 17, 2026 namely: -

• IS 1258 : 2024 IEC 61184 : 2017 Bayonet Lampholders (Fifth Revision) - Amendment No. 1 March 2026

The above IS shall stay in force without the amendment till September 16, 2026.
