Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on January 21, 2026, issued a circular regarding Compliance with uploading of Video Clips during Vehicle Emission Testing on PUCC Software Version 2.0.

The following has been stated: -

•Authorities have reiterated that PUC Centres must upload video clips during vehicle emission testing as per PUCC Software Version 2.0 guidelines.

•Inspections found that many centres are either not uploading videos or submitting inadequate recordings on the VAHAN portal.

•Videos must clearly capture the vehicle registration number, the surrounding area, and confirm the vehicle’s presence at the centre.

•They should also properly show the probe inserted into the exhaust pipe during testing.

•Non-compliance will attract strict action under the Delhi Motor Vehicles Rules, 1993, and other applicable laws.
