The Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) (BoPT(ER) on April 02, 2026, notified regarding the Continuation of existing Central Govt. share of stipend payable to apprentices under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, has issued a notice referring to GSR 610(E) dated September 03, 2025, which enhanced the monthly stipend payable to apprentices by establishments effective September 11, 2025.
It has been clarified that the Central Government’s share of stipend will continue unchanged until further orders. Accordingly, the existing contribution remains ₹4,500 per month for Graduate Apprentices and ₹4,000 per month for Technician Apprentices.
All establishments and stakeholders have been advised to take note of this clarification and comply accordingly.
