Industry Specific ComplianceThe Multi-Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) on April 06, 2026, issued a circular regarding mandatory reporting of Cyber Security Incidents.

The following has been stated:

• All trading members are required to report Cyber Incident(s), whether they occurred or not, for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, through the MCX member portal by April 15, 2026. This requirement is in continuation of earlier circulars and existing regulatory provisions.

• Further, as per guidelines referenced from the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), members who are registered with multiple exchanges (including BSE, MSE, MCX, and NCDEX) and are also NSE members must submit Cyber Security Incident details to NSE, which will then share the information with other exchanges. Members not registered with NSE must continue submitting directly to MCX.

• A help file for online submission is available on the SFTP common path, and members are advised to follow the prescribed process. Timely submission is mandatory.
