The Department of Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services, Andhra Pradesh, on April 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding Paid Holiday notification for Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Elections 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Andhra Pradesh has declared a paid holiday for employees who are registered voters of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
•This applies to those working in Kakinada, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, Tirupati, and Chittoor districts.
•The holidays are on April 09, 2026 (Puducherry) and April 23, 2026 (Tamil Nadu) to enable voting.
•Authorities have been directed to ensure compliance across industrial and commercial establishments
