Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on April 07, 2026, re-Triggers E-ASM on Turmeric and Coriander Contracts.

The NCDEX with reference to its earlier surveillance circulars, has re-triggered the Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) mechanism for select commodities.

Based on significant price volatility measured through high-low variation, an E-ASM of 2.5% has been imposed on Turmeric and Coriander contracts. This margin will be applicable on all running as well as yet-to-be-launched contracts in these commodities.

The trigger was observed on April 7, 2026, and the E-ASM will remain in force till April 29, 2026. Other commodities remain unaffected, and all existing margins will continue to apply as per prevailing norms.
