The Municipal Council Santokhgarh, Himachal Pradesh on March 12, 2026, issued the Municipal Council Santokhgarh (Registration and Control of Pet Dogs) Bye-laws, 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Procedure for Registration of Dogs has been stated in the Bye-laws.
• Any registered dog found straying at large shall be liable to be seized and kept at a place set for this purpose
• The Duties and responsibilities of the owners has been stated in the Bye-laws
• The Guideline for breeders has been stated in the Bye-laws.
This shall come into force on March 12, 2026.
