Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX), on April 9, 2026, issued Circular No. NCDEX/TECHNOLOGY-013/2026 announcing a Contingency Mock Trading Session scheduled for April 11, 2026 (Saturday). This is in continuation of the annual mock trading schedule notified earlier and is aimed at testing system readiness and contingency mechanisms.

The mock session will include trading across all commodities from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM, with a pre-open session from 09:45 AM to 10:00 AM and a re-login session from 05:00 PM to 05:30 PM. The scope covers multiple platforms including trading systems, NEXTRA, Web NCFE, and Web Extranet. During this period, production Web NCFE and Extranet services will remain unavailable, and only test environments will be accessible. Importantly, trades executed during the mock session will not result in any financial or commodity obligations.

Members are required to actively participate, especially those using algorithmic trading systems, and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines. They must also restore systems to production state post-session and verify connectivity to avoid issues on the next trading day (April 13, 2026). Additionally, certain production processes like client collateral reporting and limit file processing will remain suspended during the mock period.
