The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on April 09, 2026, issued circular regarding the Increase in Number of Partitions.
The Exchange will introduce a new partition (Partition 6) effective April 13, 2026, where all agricultural products such as Cardamom, Cotton, Kapas, Mentha Oil, and Cotton Seed Wash Oil will be migrated initially. Updated product-partition mappings will be available in the master reference data file (Mcxscrip.bcp) on the SFTP server.
Members are required to make necessary system changes and participate in the mock trading session scheduled for April 11, 2026. Additionally, all pending GTD and GTC orders for agri products will be cancelled at the end of day on April 10, 2026. Members using ETI API must update partition-specific message handling.
