The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 09, 2026, issued circular on NEAT Adapter – Capital Market, Futures & Options, Currency Derivatives & Commodity Derivatives Segments - New Version.
The Exchange has released a new version of the NEAT Adapter for Capital Market (CM), Futures & Options (FO), Commodity Derivatives (CO), and Currency Derivatives (CD) segments. This version incorporates a new encryption mechanism with enhanced authentication, as per earlier circulars.
Key points:
• The new NEAT Adapter supports only 64-bit operating systems.
• Linux requirement: RHEL version 8.5 or above (64-bit).
• Windows requirement: Windows 10 or above (64-bit).
• Members must use the new NEAT Adapter along with designated ports for CM and FO segments to enable proper connectivity and login.
• Installation details, OS compatibility, and network prerequisites are provided in the user manual.
