Labour Compliance The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, on April 09, 2026, issued a notification regarding the declaration of a holiday on the account of the Birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The following has been stated: -

•April 14, 2026, (Tuesday) is declared a nationwide holiday for all Central Government offices, including industrial establishments, on account of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birthday.

•All Ministries/Departments are directed to inform all concerned about this decision.
