Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on April 08, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Applicability of Event based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated namely: -

• Based on significant price volatility (high–low variation), an Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% has been re-imposed. 

• The margin applies specifically to Turmeric and Coriander contracts (both existing and upcoming), triggered on April 08, 2026 due to sharp price movements. 

• The E-ASM will remain in force until April 30, 2026, while no such margin is applicable to other listed commodities.
