Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on April 10, 2026, issued circular on Re-trigger of 2.5% E-ASM on Turmeric and Coriander Contracts till May 5, 2026.

Based on earlier surveillance circulars, the Exchange has re-triggered Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% due to significant price volatility (high-low variation). This margin will be applicable on Turmeric and Coriander contracts, including both running and upcoming contracts.

The revision is that E-ASM has been activated from April 10, 2026, and will remain applicable till May 5, 2026 for these two commodities. No E-ASM is applicable on other commodities at present.

All other existing margins will continue as usual, in addition to this E-ASM.
