Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 10, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Mock trading on Saturday, April 11, 2026 – No new version release for Futures and Options (F&O).

The following has been stated namely: -

• NSE will conduct a mock trading session in the Futures & Options (F&O) segment on April 11, 2026 (Saturday).

• The session is being held to test functional changes due to a new encryption mechanism for interactive messages and order acknowledgements.

• The new encryption mechanism will go live from April 13, 2026 in the live trading environment.

• Pre-open session will run from 10:00 AM to 10:08 AM (with random closure in the last minute).

• Normal trading starts at 10:15 AM, with a contingency window from 12:45 PM to 2:00 PM, and market closes at 2:00 PM.

• A second session from the backup (BCP/DR) site will run from 2:45 PM (pre-open) to 4:00 PM (market close), with trade modification allowed till 4:10 PM.

• Members can perform live re-login between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

• Members must use NEAT+ version 7.8.7, available via NSE Extranet for participation.

• New NEAT Adapter version 1.0.27 (Windows/Linux) is introduced alongside the older version (1.0.20), with updated port configurations (10833 for new version).

• Members must follow detailed annexure guidelines covering mock trading instructions, participation prerequisites, and disaster recovery (DR) switchover procedures.
