The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on April 10, 2026, issued amendment to the Last date for submission of TRQ Application for IndiaMauritius CECPA and India Nepal Treaty notified under Appendix-2Aof the FTP, 2023 for FY-2026-27.
The DGFT under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, has extended the last date for submission of Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) applications for FY 2026–27. This extension applies to specified products covered under notified Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Preferential Trade Agreements (PTAs), in continuation of the earlier public notice.
The revised deadline for filing TRQ applications is April 25, 2026. Imports under these quotas will continue to be governed by the prescribed procedures outlined in Annexure III and Annexure VI of Appendix 2-A of FTP, 2023, depending on the applicable agreement.
This extension specifically covers TRQ applications under agreements such as the India–Mauritius CECPA and the India–Nepal Treaty, while all other existing terms and conditions under Appendix-2A remain unchanged.
